The mission of the Veterans Non Profit is to provide services to low-income veterans in the El Paso area with the level of compassion and dignity that all beings are entitled to.
Among our services are a food pantry and clothing closet for veterans and their families and a pet food pantry for their service animals and pets.
We also have a partnership with two barber schools who provide our veterans with free haircuts and are a participating agency working with Sun Metro to provide our veterans with a free 90-day bus pass and discounted prices.
We are working hard to build and maintain a network with other organizations that serve the same demographic to maximize opportunities for veterans.
AVAILABLE SERVICES FOR FEDERAL EMPLOYEES AT VNP
Read more below
Veterans Non Profit exists to take care of those who have served our country. At present our government is not taking care of those who serve everyday. Beginning on Friday many Federal employees will not be paid. Consequently, VNP will attempt to step in and help out those federal employees who need it.
We do not get any Federal, State or Local government dollars. We therefore have to limit who we can help. Our services will be available once a month to Federal employees GS 7 and Below only. The employee must bring in their last paystub and their DOD/Federal ID's to prove they are federal employees and GS 7 or below. Many of these Federal employees help their communities (And VNP) through CFC contributions every year. It is only fair that we step up and help them when they need it.
Please share this with those who quality that you think may need it.

Veterans Food Pantry, Veterans Clothing Closet and Service animal/pet pantry serves established clients on Monday's and Saturday's only. We now have staff to cover our operation six days a week.
Only new clients will be served on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.
We do not have enough staff and volunteers to distribute food, clothes or service animal food throughout the week.
During the week we will serve NEW clients, and our staff will be cleaning, organizing, doing clerical stuff, contacting volunteers and accepting donations.
This is just the second step toward a full time operation that will offer services our veterans need. Check out our new hours on this page and we will soon change them on the webpage as well.
Please share this to help get the word out.
